Yes, all of my services are gender neutral. None of my pricing is based on gender. I base pricing on overall hair length, and for color services, the amount of product used.

I do, I have many male clients. I just cannot do beard shaves because of licensing laws. In Utah, where I went to school, barbering and cosmetology were part of the same license, so I was trained in both. When I moved to California, I had to choose one license or the other, and since a barbering license allows you to do fewer services, I chose a cosmetology license instead.

Right now we are seeing a wide range of trends, from short bobs to long layers and everything in between. One thing that is consistent is that most people are busy and want something low maintenance. During your consultation, we will talk through options to find a style that feels on trend but is also easy to manage. I also use a variety of highlighting techniques, some that I have learned and some that I have created, that help your color look beautiful even as it grows out.
