Ginger Rubio is a San Francisco staple. It was started in 2007, which means we’ve been making the Bay Area more beautiful for almost 20 years (and counting!).
We’re proud to say we’ve been crowned Best in the Bay not once, not twice, but three times — in 2018, 2019, and 2024.
But it's not just about the hair — it's about the vibe. Ginger Rubio is a warm, welcoming, and seriously fun space where creativity thrives and collaboration is everything. We hype each other up, share ideas, and genuinely love what we do — and it shows.

At Ginger Rubio, we’re all about good hair and good art. Our salon doubles as a gallery space where we host regular art shows and openings, spotlighting the incredible talent right here in our community.
We love supporting local artists by giving them free space to showcase and sell their work — because creativity belongs everywhere, not just on your head. So while you're getting your fresh cut or color, you can also discover your new favorite artist.
